Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Buena Park Residents Directory. Using the reference indicates acceptance of the terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the pages or the linked search tools.

1. What This Reference Is

Buena Park Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, indexes, court routes, and historical directory collections concerning Buena Park, Orange County, and California. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with Buena Park City Hall, Orange County offices, California agencies, courts, libraries, or any other custodian.

2. Rules for Lawful Use

Use the reference and anything reached through it only for lawful purposes. You may not use it to:

  • Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person.
  • Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
  • Commit identity theft, fraud, impersonation, or another unlawful act.
  • Make an FCRA-regulated decision about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or a similar eligibility matter.
  • Scrape, republish, or copy the reference at scale.
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the service.

3. No Consumer Reports

This reference is not a consumer reporting agency as that term is defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 and following. Nothing on these pages, and nothing returned by a linked search provider, is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.

4. Outside Links

Links lead to government portals, libraries, archives, courts, and third-party providers, including sponsored search tools. Those services set their own terms, prices, privacy policies, and availability. Buena Park Residents Directory is not responsible for an external service or its results.

5. No Warranties

The reference is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that a page, link, office detail, fee, coverage date, or search result is accurate, complete, current, secure, or continuously available. Confirm a record with the responsible custodian before relying on it.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of the reference or a linked resource, including a decision made from information found through it.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, losses, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your misuse of the reference or violation of these terms.

8. Copyright and Site Materials

The original wording, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Brief quotations with attribution and ordinary links are welcome. Full-page republication or systematic copying is not permitted without authorization.

9. Changes to These Terms

The operators may revise these terms by posting a replacement version. Continued use after the revised terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated language.

10. Access Restrictions

Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms, abuses the service, threatens others, or interferes with its operation. Restriction may occur without advance notice.

11. California Law

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The public-records material is informed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 and following, and its access and exemption rules. Privacy questions are also informed by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code section 1798.100 and following. Those statutes govern the responsible agencies or covered businesses, not a promise that every linked record is public.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

13. Questions
